It looks like the United States Navy Morse Diving Helmet Mark V which was used during the World War II. That's more than 50 years ago. Perhaps yours is not real one. I never heard people use this for diving in the late 80's.
The original one is selling at US$8,750.00 at this moment here. If yours one is fake, I guess its just US$500 most.
